First Ships Transit Strait Of Hormuz Under New U.S. Protection Plan

20h 25m ago by lemmy.world/u/RamRabbit in world from www.twz.com

From the news I've been able to find:

US - The Strait is now open! We will escort any civilian ship not related to Iran so they can traverse safely!

Iran - Yeah, the US tried to escort a ship, we have hit their military ships as a warning.

US - Iran lies! No ship was hit! We will keep shouting instructions from a safe distance to any civilian ship trying to traverse the Strait, like we promised earlier!

Claims on youtube that Iran has fired warning shots (2x balistic cruise missiles). No information about any outcomes yet.

Nobody seems to know anyhting, indeed:

Iran denies that 2 US ships have passed but claim to have fired 2 missiles on US ships. US claims to have passed 2 ships, but deny any missiles were fired by Iran.

Not for long.

Yeah, that doesn't scale lol

You only need like a thousand more battleships and we can effectively do this.
