Threatening to kill yourself means nothing for a regime that is OK with bombing girl schools.
I respect the effort, and I hope he survives it, he got attention, now it's time to live with his family.
While bridge traffic in both directions was closed at times on Friday and overnight, the bridge is reportedly open to traffic Saturday morning, though with some lane restrictions, as law enforcement said a “barricade situation” with the protester continued.
He shut down a bridge for a day and closed off a lane. Standing atop a bridge absolutely means something. Even with a lack of disregard to human life, if your body falls onto a vehicle, that would cause real damage.
I think he’s done this before.
