good riddens 😍
Hell yeah :D
also its "good riddance" FYI
thanks!
It's a start but there's still 35000 more to go.
Are we going to finally get rid of Ramstein Kaiserslautern?
Fat chance. America needs the base for forward projection to the Middle East.
Trump doesn’t understand that
Ami - go home!
Americani eunt ad domum
🤣🤣
5000 injured from Iranian attacks, understood.
Have a nice trip
i just wish Germany had politely told them they were no longer required instead, I do wonder what Germany is getting out of them tbh
It used to be "attacking germany would mean attacking the US soldiers there" which was supposed to be a deterrent. But now the US soldiers are the danger themselves so its really stupid that Trump would think that germany would still want them.
Well, for a very long time Germany didn't have a choice 😅 and then it became a ok we will barely have a military because we have us soldiers here. (Which was considered a good thing by everyone in the world for.... Historical reasons)
Germany isn't really getting anything out of it, it's essentially a form of military aid to the US.
There is a common misconception among conspiracy/imbecile circles (and hence also the administration) in the US that these US military bases are a crucial part of the local economy, and that dismantling them is a way to "punish" allies that display a lack of servility.
I mean, it will probably be a hard loss for the local bakery and some restaurants.
US forces training German and other NATO forces. Afaik US troops are highly valued because they have more actual combat experience.
And as we can see now, their experience is good for... uhm...
Imperialist france army is enough for europe,we dont need USA! :)
Don't let the door hit you on your way out!
