Professional models run in the low thousands. Well, they did before all the fuckery with tariffs, the Strait of Hormuz, etc. probably worse now.

I will say though, my husband’s Wacom was around 15 years old by the time he replaced it, and it still technically functions, the screen is just hazy from a decade plus of use.

I called their support one time about an old Wacom tablet I have, they wouldn't help, just kept trying to push me to buy a new one, so the comic is accurate.
