I mean, it can be both. Trump was probably always going to do this, but the Epstein files just rearranged the schedule.
They don't care about the Epstein files, just like they didn't care about the Panama Papers those are a distraction. The same people in the Epstein files run the DOJ, Run all the corporations, Run the supreme court. They have no fear or care in the world and the Americans will do fuck all to hold anyone accountable.

Because I agree with you and is kind of the point of the meme. People who keep saying everything is to distract you from the Epstein files are unaware that this is the constant policy that would happen with or with out them. The people in charge don't care about Epstein. There are dozens of other Epsteins too.

considering the alphabet intelligence agencies and the people in the epstein files run 4chan and reddit I wouldn't surprise if the "distraction from epstein files" trope is being planted by them to prevent deeper material analysis
