Right, so, what seems to be the problem here?
Unsticking them with the small fork and/or your fingers (tomato is wet). It's only mildly infuriating.
Knowing full well that you need to blunt the blade a little more than should be necessary on this particular usage.
Need to sharpen your knife
And a wooden cutting board.

This is my sunday platter; pickles/olives, dried fruit/meats, cheese, nuts, veggies. Quickly made and cheap, nice to the eye and to the soul.
