i do self-harm like cutting, but i havent in a while, i was thinking of relapsing though... i already stick my finger down my throat n stuff but as a girl who grew up religious, does god care? would he be upset??? i also have been contemplating suicide lately but won't decide to go through. i just feel fat so i take up space figuratively and literally. im 180 lbs...
Do you believe in a God that punishes or one that loves? I'm assuming a loving God, because that's the one I think would exist.
Think about it, if you self harm and are contemplating suicide, it means you are suffering. If someone loves you truly, would they be upset if you are suffering? Of course not, they would be sad, empathetic, caring and understanding.
Ultimately, I don't think it's fair to worry about what God thinks about you. Live is complicated enough even when thinking about yourself. You don't take up space, the world is big, a couple of pounds more are not going to change the fact that you deserve to live as much as anybody else.

Curious how old you are if you wouldn't mind sharing.
I know you didn't ask for it this way, but I don't believe in a good. Thing is we get only one life on this planet. At its core, we are all organisms simply fighting to survive with as minimal pain possible. So if life truly has no meaning then the only thing you need to worry about is pleasure. Not in a decompensatory way, but as a way to realize that that's what we are here for. To survive and persist and do what we can to find kindness and pleasure for ourselves.
