You're kind to care that much about idiots. I think the ban is short-sighted. These idiots become the constant reminder to their friends the danger of fireworks which should lead to more careful handling. For people that enjoy them responsibly, it will be sad they are gone. FWIW, the aftermath RTL reported was a lot, but at the same time, if you consider 50ish reported serious events out of a total pop of 19m for a night, it ain't that bad.
