Lol, what an absurd accusation. There's this (which isn't "defending cops") and the 1312 thing (which was about how that looks, not what it is. I literally said "just say ACAB"). This purity testing is just a poor attempt to characterize someone that dares disagree with you as the enemy.
My only "crime" here is not accepting unconditional hate. I value when people do the right thing to help others, even when they're part of a group that overwhelmingly does great harm. Especially when they're in a group like that. Humanity needs as many people as it can get who will do that, now more than ever.
No, humanity needs people who will outright fight evil. Not sit around and hope evil will reform itself to be better if we just treat it nicely. Now more than ever we need bad people dying, we need their numbers to drop, and we need them to fucking scared to ever raise their head up again. They are vastly outnumbered, yet are allowed to act with impunity through inaction.
It is tolerance of evil that has allowed it to flourish.
Feel free to elaborate on how acknowledging people dying for doing good is "tolerating evil" and not the exact opposite? If you truly want people that will act and stand up, then those are the people you want. They died proving it. The loss of them should pain you, not cause you pleasure.
Humanity does need people who will fight the corrupt and wicked, but by your own admission, most people favor inaction. The number of people willing to put their own well being on the line for others is far too low to be so discriminating. We should commend any good act, regardless of where it comes from.
