Share Videos on Lemmy

What is the best way to share videos on Lemmy? As far as I know, uploading is not possible in principle, or is that only the case here? In addition to external video hosts, I am particularly interested in how well this works with other services from the Fediverse. For example, videos from PeerTube, Loops, or Pixelfed.
Take a look over at !peertube@lemmy.world if you would like to see what the end result of peertube is on lemmy/piefed.
Consider sharing a textual article on the subject instead.
If that's not possible, please include in the post body a synopsis or summary of the video to which you're linking. A headline is not enough.
