Remember, this didn't just happen. It was brought about by tech billionaires backing Trump, each paying him 1 million dollars just to stand behind him on inauguration day, by the Heritage foundation, by wealthy people like JD Vance, and the rest of the administration. This was enabled by a class of people without morals and compassion, who do not care for your country.

Green energy B-corps or nonprofits, mutual aid and union organizing organizations, sustainable tech B-corps, medicine and research groups. This list isn't only for investment. I understand that to some degree people want to support things while building a portfolio, but there are some things there just for donations and support.

Not trying to pass judgement on you, but even European defense companies' hands are not clean because most of them supply arms to Israel. I had stocks in Airbus, until later I found out that one of their American subsidiaries make drones, which are then used to kill civilians in Gaza. If the October 7th hadn't happen and Israel wasn't going on full rampage, I would have happily remain investing in European defense companies. My only European defense stock remaining is MTU Aero Engine, which has not grown in the past year but still has potential.
Again, I'm not trying to dissuade you to divest, at the end of the day we just want a comfortable life. I mean, with the growing wealth inequality and inflation, working hard and saving alone isn't enough to keep us comfortable that's why we invest. My coworker made money from investing In Palantir but I am not really judging him in spite of controversy with the company.

The original narrative was that she was a protestor / legal observer. i.e. that she was actively engaged with the ICE activity in some capacity and that she had placed herself in harms way in the course of doing so.
This new information reveals that she was just a normal person going about her normal business before being randomly murdered by ICE.
Neither version says its OK to just murder someone, but the information that she was just a person in the wrong place takes even more out of the narrative that she somehow initiated the encounter at all.

I know most people have already gone over this, but for me it was important to figure out what actually happened. From the article:

According to the "expert" they had on Good Morning America, the ICE agent was "struck" by Good's vehicle, but it's actually only the second and third gunshots to this innocent woman's head that were not justified.

While morally I cannot agree with the take, I would LOVE to see people even halfway motivated to take their marches directly to the seats of power. I was out with some casual friends last night, the topic of the shooting came up. I was sickened listening to them talking about how she was at fault for putting herself in harms way, how she was asking for it by trying to run down law enforcement who are "just doing their job."
We're completely fucked, most of the public just laps up whatever bullshit they are fed and do not spend one second critically thinking about anything. They just accept that 2000 masked and armed federal agents decending on our neighborhoods and shooting people in the fucking face is a normal thing and they save their anger for the people they are crushing under their boots.
That's really disheartening to hear. We need to keep hammering home that this is not normal to all our friends And family. People are understandably scared, and not everyone is as plugged in to reality. Sometimes they accept the narrative out of fear, they want to believe that if they behave and follow the rules they won't be shot in the face as well.
The good news is that you can only ignore reality for so long before it comes stomping down your door. The bad news is at that point it might be too late for any of us.
I am choosing to remain hopeful that these people will not get away with this. This regime is incompetent, and there are many people pushing back against them everywhere.

She starts to pull out, realizes there's oncoming traffic, then waves at them to pass, then two masked men exit the unmarked pickup truck brandishing weapons and one tries to reach into her car to open the door. Nothing will get done until the US deprograms itself thinking that things like Civil Wars are started by the Confederate side, that the US is indivisible (ask the colonies what they would have thought about that), or that the only people who obsess about the founding principles and the constitution, one that is now being ignored and just treated like an interpretive piece of art work like the bible, are only those Conservative guys. You've slowly been programmed into equally abusable extremes.
If the unconstitutionality and flagrant abuse of the current government isn't enough to get states to begin planning their own opposition cohesively, nothing is going to stop this, and that's where this is heading. In a government where the two most powerful branches, the Executive and the Judicial, are completely corrupt, when the turnover in federal agencies has been almost absolute, where the Executive constantly ignores and bypasses legislation from the Legislative branch, hoping for a majority in what is only a part of the legislative is not going to work out. Even if they had the entire Legislative, it would not work out. It's the now completely corrupt federal agencies the ones who would be in charge of any attempts at impeachment. It's sad to see the entire opposition get led by such a pale example of a carrot because the alternative might require something more than career politicians from the old class oligarchy.
