At some point it starts to look like people are using the Epstein files to distract from the state sanctioned murders on the streets of America and the wars of territorial expansion around the world.
Like yeah, I get that the president is pedophile. I also understand that everyone who cared about that already knew this before he was re-elected and it didn't matter then and isn't going to suddenly matter now. The GOP controlled congress isn't going to remove Trump for ordering his goons to murder Americans, engaging in acts of war all over the earth, or turning the US into a pirate state, what makes you think they are going to remove him for being a sex offender (again, something we ALREADY KNOW)?
This is starting to feel like Mueller report during his first term. "Oh no, don't do anything about Trump because this is going to sink him! Don't react to what he is doing, that's what he wants, just let the system work and its all going to be OK." Yeah, that is not going to happen. NOTHING that comes out of the epstein files is going to solve Trump and telling people to pin everything on that instead of actually doing something about the crap that is happening today is probably helping him more than anything else.

Let's talk about the warmongering and murders of the populace, the suspension of liberties, and all of the bad shit that's going on. The kid fucking is clearly not a deal breaker for people who keep him in power.

No it isn't. Everyone that is in the Epstein files is already known to be a total creep and we are a long way from being a country that holds wealthy and powerful people accountable for that conduct.

And what exactly do you the end goal is with the Epstein Files? What exactly do you think their release with effectively accomplish? What material changes will it bring?
Nothing. That's what. You naively still place your trust in a system that has proven time and time again to go against your interests for the sake of those who oppress you.
Until people get over this and start organizing to create alternatives to the system so we can actually begin to bring about material change, nothing will get better. The light has already been shined upon their misdeeds. It's time to do something about it.

I feel like at this point, it's the Epstein files that are the distraction. The orange ghoul has gone full Mussolini, we all know he's a pedo, releasing the files won't change anything if he has such a tight grip on the state that he can get away with anything.

I don't know how much clearer I can make it, when I literally write only a single paragraph underneath dedicated to other bad shit going on. Is there not enough space to focus on multiple things? What about Gaza, what about Ukraine, Sudan, Venezuela, femicide, Cum-ex, Myanmar, Iran, North Korea, climate catastrophe, and so fucking on?
Epstein Files are not just about Trump being child rapist and complicit sex trafficker. It implicates Bill Gates, Israel, Israel's former PM, Noam Chomsky, the FBI, Woody Allen, and so much more. And it isn't just about these people either. It illucidates the stranglehold 'elites' have over the rest of the world. It breaks the illusion of order and justice imposed in the west and trickles down into all kinds of policies and violence we see today.
The defeatism of "we know that anyway", "nothing changes" is lacking imagination and a disrespect to all the blood that has been shed to get this far. This is a political community and this is politics. Shining light on injustice, especially of massive proportions and implications should always have a space.
