The woman shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis on Wednesday was Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who had recently moved to Minnesota.
She was a U.S. citizen born in Colorado and appears to never have been charged with anything involving law enforcement beyond a traffic ticket.
In social media accounts, Macklin Good described herself as a “poet and writer and wife and mom.” She said she was currently “experiencing Minneapolis,” displaying a pride flag emoji on her Instagram account. A profile picture posted to Pinterest shows her smiling and holding a young child against her cheek, along with posts about tattoos, hairstyles and home decorating.
Ugh. Watch the video and make up your own mind. The ice agent took a shot to maim and kill the driver, not to incapicate the vehicle. Noem called her a terrorist and accused her of 'weaponizing her vehicle'. Fuck every one of them, and everyone that allowed the orange rapist into office.

At the 21st Century version of the Nuremburg Trials, we will have to justify depriving them of their First Amendment Rights in order to prohibit them from existing. Just about the ONLY justification that could fly would be if they could be proven to be serious National Security Threats to the Sovereignty of The United States.

100% valid. I'm making speculative predictions about how the Democratic Party could still get out of this and save America, and I honestly think they could, but all my predictions would require them getting out of their long-entrenched comfort zones, and they've shown very little willingness to do that.
But they are going to have to make some major changes in attitude if we are going to save American Democracy, like it or not. We have hired them to represent us in our government, and we have to FORCE them to do right by us.
Politicians operate 100% from fear, mostly fear that they will lose their cushy, privileged jobs. As much power as they have, we still have the power to vote them out (election fraud is a real issue, but a different conversation), and they fear THAT more than anything else, but not really, because we don't wield that power.
Right now they fear too many other things before us. They fear the Donor Class who will keep their bribes, they fear the Progressives who will give them term limits and oversight, they fear the Republicans who are big bullies, etc. They don't worry nearly enough about us voters, because we always vote for our incumbents.
So let's stop doing that. My Democratic rep is a nobody, he does next to nothing. Maybe once a year he makes some announcement about supporting some minor legislation, usually having to do with Puerto Rico, but he's too lazy to get involved in anything else. My guy is such a loser, that give me any decent primary candidate who will call this lump out for being a bum, and I'll vote for them.
In primaries, we should vote for a decent competing candidate instead of the incumbent. If the incumbent is any good, they'll still get enough votes to get the nomination, but they'll see that their opponents did better than expected, and know that the voters are watching, especially when they see other colleagues LOSE their primaries.
We need to make them fear US, more than they fear anyone else. Then they'll do what we tell them.

Shooting the driver of a vehicle doesn't stop the vehicle. There is literally never a reason to kill a driver, especially in a populated area where the vehicle becomes a deadly projectile.
Puppy Killer took the time to point out instances of people blocking ICE cars, and it was clearly pissing her off. They want to end that practice, because it works, and gives targets a chance to escape.
So I wouldn't be surprised that they were ordered that if anyone blocks an ICE vehicle, to leap in front of it, and kill the driver, and send a message. So that guy got out of his car, drawing his weapon, and as she looked at him, he put two bullets in her face.
Minnesota should arrest the ICE Jackal for First Degree murder, all the rest as accessories, and everyone in the chain of command who created the order, and passed it down, for murder as well.

You guys need more of you. I know many of the left are armed down there and not showing off their "stashes" but the great majority I have seen do not seem left leaning (red hats, snake flags, etc, seem to often be present in the pictures). Hoping you guys get this under control
I've said this in other comments but bares repeating: we have a lot of people willing to fight for democracy, but very few people willing to die for it.
I won't share anything specific on what the group does (or doesn't do) but the biggest thing that anyone within the US can do right now is to get politically involved, especially if you are white and cis.
- Find immigration attorneys and volunteer your time and talents with them
- Find LGBT+ groups and be their ally
- Volunteer at local homeless shelters, legal aid centers, etc.
You can do all of those things anonymously if you fear for your own safety. But get involved. I've done all of those things I listed above and I can tell you that the needs are huge. The more you make yourself known, the more people will trust you and you will be come part of the resistance.
And stay quiet. They all think that only they have the guns, and they think we're all going to just get on our knees, and politely take the bullet in the brain. And frankly, a lot will.
But a lot of us are also going to fight back, and that will be a big surprise to them. An even bigger surprise is that when it kicks off, they will discover that the lefty shooters are MUCH better shots than MAGAs, who only own guns to convince others that they don't have a micropenis.
I mean, that's exactly how the partisans groups worked in Italy while it was occupied by Nazis.

- Try to run away. You may get get murdered during your attempt.
- Identify yourself, possibly be incorrectly identified as "not a citizen," possibly die in a concentration camp.
- Exercise the second amendment. Get shot and die.
At least MAGA is offering people choices. So thoughtful.

This was the pinnacle of wrongness. There was no probable cause. Zero. No threat - other than the one the officer deliberately created by placing himself in front of the car. No history, no weapon, no altercation, no dispatch to a suspected threat, nothing. The protesters in Portland did far more inflammatory things and nobody got a (non-rubber) lethal bullet to the head.
