Steamdeck is NOT officially recommended as there is NO CONTROLLER SUPPORT YET

That's exactly what Steam Input and the touchpads were designed for

Lol yeah what? Play anything through Steam and it not only has controller support, it has everything support. Steam Input is fucking awesome

Yeah, I'm amazed that none of the other handhelds (like Asus and Lenovo) have the touchpads. Such a great feature.

Fuck shitter. Please don't post links from that fascist platform.

Twitter 100% sucks but citing sources is important. Maybe recommend they use an alternative frontend?

100% recommend xcancel just for the reason you can view the entire thread without an account.

we got multiple instances.

I just wish people composted Nazis.

I think it is a Nitter instance.

better question: why is slikey comfortable interacting with Nazis?

That's cool. Maybe someday this year we'll see further news about paid applications in Flathub

Does the Minecraft launcher flatpak (com.mojang.Minecraft) count as a paid app?

Don't know. I guess. I'm just talking opening up Flathub and seeing anything I can buy. Haven't noticed premium cost applications in Flathub yet

Who would do the payment processing in this case? Would every repo implement a means of accepting money? You'd have to implement it carefully to avoid a load of malicious repositories popping up selling free apps or reselling pirated apps

End of 2024 an LLC formation to handle payments was announced in the works. Haven't kept up much to see if anything has progressed with that

I'm excited. I never did anything Hytale related, but I've longed for a Minecraft alternative.

There's always vintage story.

I've looked at Vintage Story a few times but I never bite with how difficult everything seems. Even tuned, it seems I would not be able to escape great time needed to do things.

I don't play as much and so I think I would risk being disgruntled with limited progress. It's a game I respect a lot though.

I'm going to throw it out here, Luanti + Mineclonia.

It lags behind Minecraft in terms of updates but has most of the stuff you'd want from a generic Minecraft playthrough.

I'm actually enjoying my playthrough, hence why I suggest it

I am suddenly very excited for Hytale.

will offer support

Yay!

So... No, then? I'll be over here crying in iso27002.

Why?
