My family isn't usually disfunctional, but they're currently upset that when they picked a date for our Christmas gathering without including me, that I can't make it on that date. I was asking since October when we were going to have our Christmas so we could plan for it. They told me the date, and I said I couldn't do that, but that didn't seem to matter until now when it's all coming to a head because it's in a few days.

I fucking hate Christmas. It's always filled with arbitrary stress, and expectations, and obligations.
