Heh, looks like he got pissed off with how the train and carriages were turning out and scribbled over them.

Can't win em all, Monet.

And I was sitting here being amazed at how marks that look so random and messy when zoomed in make such a beautiful and realistic image when viewed from a reasonable distance.

I figured it was about the 'busyness', an illustration of the haste with which we board and depart without really taking in the details of the thing, in the same way the steam engine looked ever so slightly infernal, in a helpful pedestrian sort of way
